Morgan's
House
Nestled
in the Woods Overlooking a Private Trout Pond

Morgan's
House has a large fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave,
standard electric stove, refrigerator, toaster, and coffee maker and grinder.
There is a pass through to the dining area and also a
pantry. The Master Bedroom features a queen size bed and the
second bedroom has a double standard bed. The bathroom has double
sinks and a shower / tub combination. The combination living
and dining room features an open floor plan with wood floors. There is a wood burning fireplace that has a nice hearth and has floor to ceiling red bricks.
The dining table seats 6-8 very comfortable. These rooms have
double sliding doors that open onto a large deck with a Texas Smoking
Barbecue, picnic table, and Adirondack chairs overlooking the pond and gardens.
Outside nestled in the tall trees is a large private hot tub with views of the trout pond and of the large
backyard. The back yard features a private fire ring for family gatherings.
(Tell some stories, roast marsh mellows, or have that family sing
along around the campfire, you won't be bothering any neighbors here although a few critters may want to join in)
Furnished with all the amenities of home you should have everything
you need to enjoy your holiday vacation, retreat. Other cottage
amenities include Color TV's, VCR's, CD players, telephone, movies, binoculars,
iron and ironing board, hair dryer, reading materials and board games. All dishes, utensils
and linens are provided. There is catch and release fishing
year round in the pond and a flat bottom rowboat for your use.
(No license required on site, but it is catch and release by law as the cut throat trout are protected)
If
you have a larger family or need to accommodate a larger group you
can rent Morgan's House with The Master's Suite with a nice discount
for up to 6 guests. It can be opened up to make a three bedroom,
two bath. When The Master's Suite or Morgan's House is rented by itself we do not rent the other side to insure the privacy and enjoyment of your stay.
The Master's Suite is wonderful getaway for an individual or a couple.
It is a full studio apartment and has a large room with a queen size cedar bed in the sleeping area.
Immediately adjacent there is a sitting area for watching TV and dining area with a view overlooking
the pond. The kitchenette has beautiful granite floors that flow into
the private bathroom where a large Jacuzzi tub awaits you overlooking
the pond. The private bathroom is roomy and light featuring a
pedestal sink and separate stall shower decorated in a Hawaiian
theme.
Although
The Masters Suite is a private rental with a private entrance it can
be opened up to make a 3 bedroom 2 bath when rented in combination with
Morgan's House. It has a connecting door inside. This is
a great rental for those with a larger group or family wanting to accommodate
up to 6 people and is discounted when rented together.
When The Master's Suite or Morgan's House is rented by itself we do not rent the other side to insure the privacy and enjoyment of your stay.
The
Master's Suite kitchenette is equipped with a sink, small fridge,
microwave, coffee maker, toaster,
dishes etc. The Masters Suite also includes a TV, VCR, CD player,
telephone, hair dryer, iron, movies, board games and reading materials.
You have a private sitting area and small charcoal barbecue outside
for your personal use. Please
note the following: the
Master's Suite does not have a hot tub,
stove or fire pit.
These
cabins are centrally located to Port Townsend, Sequim,
Port Angeles, Port Hadlock, Chimacum & Quilcene. Easy Day
Trips include Vancouver B.C., the San Juans and Seattle are only a ferry
ride away. There are many things to enjoy - Crabbing, Clamming,
Hiking, Skiing, Music, Festivals, Wildlife, Golfing, Sailing, Mountain
Biking, Orcas Whale Watching, Kayaking, Waterfalls, Fishing of all types
abound. Shopping, Antiques, Jazz Festivals, Lavender Farms and
Wineries to name a few. Please request a list of things to do. This is Seattle's best kept secret for a week end getaway. It is right outside their door only a ferry ride or an hour or two away.
